Dry Ice Warning
We use dry ice, a cooling agent, to ensure our frozen meals stay frozen. Your package may still contain dry ice when it arrives. Take caution in opening and removing meals from the package and do not touch any remaining dry ice. After storing the meals in your freezer, keep the dry ice in your open, ventilated box, and it will evaporate within a few hours.
Zero Waste Packaging
Our meal cartons are made with non-coated recycled paper and therefore may not withstand damage due to water as well as typical frozen meals. Most frozen meal packaging is coated and therefore it cannot be recycled.
The meal cartons, interior paper liners, and shipping box can be recycled curbside with your other paper goods.
The meal tray is made out of sugarcane bagasse and wheat fiber and coated with PLA. It can be composted in a commercial facility. Learn more about our packaging on our blog.
Meal storage & prep
Please store your meals in the freezer upon arrival. It’s best to heat and eat your meals within 4 weeks, but the meals are ok to eat until the best by date on the side of the package.
Follow the meal prep instructions, garnish as you’d like, and enjoy! The meals make a perfect light lunch, dinner, or vegetable side.
