Fire Ox Expands to MOM's Organic Markets

Ever since the founder of MOM's started started selling organic produce out of the back of their garage in 1987, MOM's Organic Markets have been committed to protecting our planet. In 2005, they banned the use of plastic bags and by 2010 they had eliminated the sale of plastic water bottles in all of their stores. They also buy wind and solar power to offset their stores' energy usage. As someone who had a mom who picked trash off the beach everyday, it'll come as no surprise that we share MOM's mission in preserving our planet. Like MOM's, we strive to protect our earth by offsetting our plastic waste, using recyclable cartons and shipping materials, and using plant-based ingredients and real vegetables in all of our meals. After lots of years of hard work (albeit the difficulties of startup life still continue), we are so grateful to work with a chain with such a virtuous mission and look forward to investing in the relationship to build a strong partnership.
